Mason Christopher Schlup Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mason Christopher Schlup (Spearfish, South Dakota), who passed away on September 13, 2025, at the age of 20, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Mason had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Mason may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

He is survived by: his parents, Christopher Schlup and Rebecca Schlup (Mike); his sisters, Madelynn and Mckenna; and his grandparents, John, Carlene Burke, Dan, Brenda Schlup, Doug and Shirley Filand. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church (1020 State St, Spearfish, SD 57783).
