He was predeceased by: his parents, Reid Compton and Laura Compton; his former wife Colleen Piehl; his granddaughter Isabella Footh; his father-in-law Calvin Boen; and his brother-in-law Arthur Perina.
He is survived by: his wife Nadine Anderson; his children, Paul Compton (Janell) and Susan Steiner (Ken); his stepchildren, Alan Anderson of Sanford, FL, Michele Anderson (Rocky) of Kalispell, MT and Maddi Anderson of Overland Park, KS; his grandchildren, Sebastian Footh (Danielle) of Hays, KS and Carmen Miele (Joe) of Missoula, MT; his brother Chuck Compton (Myra) of Anderson, IN; his siblings-in-law, Kevin Boen (Anita) of Fergus Falls, MN, Noreen Perina of Gretna, NE, Naomi Frantes (Mike) of Cedar Park, TX, Natalie Gregory (Jim) of Gretna, TX, Kerri Black (Steve) of Kent, WA, Kandace Gorsuch (Doug) of Ramsey, MN and Kathy Paulson (Joe) of Ramsey, MN; his close friends, Jeff, Susie, Katie, Allie Mondloch, Nicole and Danielle Valentine; and also Amanda Halek of Olathe, KS. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
