Nira Nichols Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on August 14, 2025, at the age of 91, Nira Nichols of Spearfish, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Nira is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Nira's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Napton and Pearl Napton (Hall); her husband William "Sonny" Nichols; her children, Cheryl Michael, Helen Millar, Patty Flynn and Richard Michael; and her great grandchildren, Josha Reed and Addison Williams.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pam Lewis, Roberta "Bobbie" Williams and Stella Anderson. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
