Raymond Nordstrom Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raymond Nordstrom of Spearfish, South Dakota, who passed away on May 22, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Raymond Nordstrom to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hattie Nordstrom and Albert Nordstrom; and his siblings, Marge Flaten and Robert. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Johnson (Hix) of Spearfish; his son Lance Nordstrom (Ruan) of Spearfish; his stepchildren, Julie Reinert of Spearfish and Steven Johnson (Amy) of Albany, OR; his niece Linda Brown (Lars); his nephew Ron Flaten (Shelly); his grandchildren, Kory Reinert of Rapid City, SD, Ashlee Raba (Zach) of Spearfish, Cody Reinert, Nicholas Johnson (Corey) of Salem, OR, Sarah Warren (Dominik) of Eugene, OR and Jessica Fisher of Norfork, VA; his great grandchildren, Zoey, Zyler, Zaylee Raba of Spearfish and Holly Johnson of Salem, OR; and his great-niece Larissa Brown. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the United Methodist Church (845 N 5th St, Spearfish, SD 57783). A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at the Rose Hill Cemetery (255 Ash St, Spearfish, SD 57783).

A memorial has been established for the Spearfish Senior Citizen Center (Building Fund).
