He is survived by: his wife Beverly Heidelberger (Hodne); his children, Holly Hodge (Don), Aaron Heidelberger (Liza) and Jessica Lillebo (Shane); and his grandchildren, Sydney Lillebo, Sophie Hodge, Celia Hodge, Cole Heidelberger and Kayla Heidelberger. He is also survived by extended family, neighbors, and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (416 Fuller St, Spencer, SD 57374). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Howard's family will remember him not by Parkinson's, but rather his dad jokes, silly made-up songs, his love for cookies and ice cream, his big toothy smile, and his genuine care and interest in others.
