He is survived by: his wife Candace Grassel of Springfield, SD; his children, Travis Grassel of Waukee, IA and Camilla Holthe (Chad); his grandchildren, Andrew Grassel, Matthew Grassel of Ames, IA, Allie Holthe and Jorris Holthe; his great grandchild Colt Holthe; his sister Connie Grassel of Sioux Falls, SD; and his siblings-in-law, Joan Grassel of Havre, MT, Cheryl Schmiedt of Woonsocket, SD and Claude Forbes of Woonsocket, SD. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
