She was predeceased by: her parents, Harm Dyk and Nancy Dyk (Dykstra); her husband Jake; her daughter Judy Ward; her son-in-law Dennis Ward; and her siblings, Dick Dyk, Clair Dyk and Henrietta Star.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joanne Hatle (David) of Sioux Falls, Sharon Egge (Alan) of Yankton and Audrey Gaspar (David) of Flandreau; her grandchildren, Michelle (Adam), Nelson, Becky (Darren), Larson, Kathy Ward (Isaac), Leah (Aaron), Presley (Isaac), Adam (Rachel), Hatle, Sara (Mark), Hoebelheinrich, Alison (Joe), Gerken, Jonathan (Amanda), Egge, Daniel (Leslie), Jesse (Jamie), Christina Gaspar and Ben Gaspar (Amber); and her siblings, Gerald Dyk, Carolyn Hofman and Billie Childress. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials will be directed to benefit the Emmanuel Reformed Church library and cemetery funds.
