He was predeceased by : his parents, Gilfred Colgan and Blanche "Sybil" Colgan (Young); his son Trebor Colgan; his brother-in-law Larry Rickard; and his nephews, Andrew Rickard and Ronnie Colgan.
He is survived by : his wife Anna Cox of Springfield; his children, Aaron Colgan of Tabor, Linsey Colgan of Yankton and Courtney Colgan of Yankton; his grandchildren, Kevin, McKenzie, Quinten and Kaison; his great grandchild Willa; and his siblings, Ray Colgan (Harvaleen) of Jakin, Georgia, Sharon Giedd (Mike) of Yankton, Valerie Hans (Richard) of Wynot and Judy Rickard of Navarre, Florida..
