He was predeceased by : his parents, Rueben Kaul and Mae Kaul (Mattis); and his sister Betty Palsma. He is survived by : his wife Donna Mae Schneider; his children, Billy (Michelle) of Springfield, Dean (Nicole) of Tyndall, Danny (Julie) of Olathe, KS and Vicki Sonne (Mike) of Watertown; his grandchildren, Austin, Tyler, Jackson Kaul, Memphis, Wesley, Trey, Olivia Kaul, Alexandra, Megan Kaul and James Sonne; and his brother-in-law Alan Palsma.

“We are from Nebraska but camped seasonally in Springfield! Always enjoyed golfing with Terry and Vern! So sorry to hear of Verns passing! He was a Great man and loved hearing him sing with the Kaul Boys! Was able to attend Terrys funeral but not able to attend for Vern! Sending Sympathy and Hugs to his Family! He did get a Hole in one and was humble as always! Terry and Vern will be playing golf now and laughing and joking together! Will miss them both! Joe and Cindy Bouslaugh”
