She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Messing and Minerva Messing (Iverson); her husband Beezie; her brother Roy Messing; and her half-sister Patricia Ross (Berry).
She is survived by: her brother Ward Messing of Idabel, OK; her children, Katherine "Trina" Howard of Sioux Falls, SD, Susan Beckler (Terry) of Aberdeen, SD, Jennifer Srstka (Jim) of Lead, SD and James Howard of Orlando, FL.; and her grandchildren, Myles, Lindsey (Merrick), Mallory, Srstka, Elijah, Ian and Jackson. She is also survived by three daughters and a son; as well as six grandchildren.
