He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy W. Erickson and Gladys Erickson (Sanders); his wife Barbara J. Hansen; his sons, Daniel C. Erickson and Robert A. Erickson Jr.; his siblings, Ralph "Bill" Erickson, Betty Mason and Vera Hilburn Robertson (Toby); and his son-in-law Barry Sires.
He is survived by: his daughter Susan Sires; and his grandchildren, Shauna Woodward (Richard), Jason and Jeremy Erickson. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
