He was predeceased by : his parents, Arnum Blunt and Anna Blunt (Cornelius); and his siblings, Gordon, Joy and Leona.

He is survived by : his children, Jamie Knutson (Donald) of Crooks, SD, Deanna Blunt-Grosz (Timothy Grosz) of Sturgis, SD, Arnum Blunt of Fulton, SD and Darla Blunt-Lee (Clark Lee) of Humboldt, SD.

A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall (2707 SD-37, Mitchell, SD 57301). A burial was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the Greenhill Cemetery.
