Connie leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Connie’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Connie will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Henke; her daughters, Tammy Miller (Richard Miller) and Dawn Miller (Daniel Miller); her grandchildren, Morgan Lenz, Peyton Lenz, Riley Schmidt and Conner Schmidt; and her siblings, Howard Craig and Donna Smith.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Black Hills National Cemetery (20901 Pleasant Valley Dr, Sturgis, SD 57785). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Sturgis Vet's Club (868 Main St, Sturgis, SD 57785).
