With heavy hearts, we announce the death of DiAnn Aplan of Sturgis, South Dakota, who passed away on May 28, 2025 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of DiAnn Aplan to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Schott and Lydia Schott; her siblings, Arnold, Donald, Ruben, Russell, Reinhold Schott, Eileen Finck (Ruben) and Gladys Schott; her sister-in-law Susan Wallace; and her niece Cammie Finck.
She is survived by: her son Morgan Aplan (Elysia) of Casper, WY; and her brothers, Wallace and Jim Schott (Priscilla) of McLaughlin, SD. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, stepchildren and more family members.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Kesling Funeral Home (1201 W Grand Crossing, Mobridge, SD 57601).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in DiAnn's name to the Sturgis Animal Shelter.
