He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Thomson and Norma Thomson (Porter); his brother Keith Thomson; and his parents-in-law, Donald and Ellenore Barber (Koontz).
He is survived by: his wife Kathi Thomson; his children, Loren Thomson (Anjie) and Donnelle Frear (Greg); his grandchild JoDee Allen (Sam); his siblings, Paul Thomson (Michelle) and Carolyn Schuldies (Gerald); and his grandchildren, Casey Frear (Carissa), Avery Frear Logue (Hunter), Taylor Frear, Ayden Thomson, Taylor Mossey, Brooke Mossey Humphry (Hayden), Carter Mossey (Lindsay), Madyson Mossey, Meagan Iddings Hendrickson, Drew Iddings (Marissa), Matt Greenfield (Kelsae), Alexis, Elizabeth and Olivia Allen. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
