With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry L. VanSickel of Sturgis, South Dakota, who passed away on May 18, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Jerry may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack VanSickel and Jean VanSickel. He is survived by: his son Tyler VanSickel (Lacey Jackson); his grandchildren, Mason VanSickel and Jaylen Hodges; and his siblings, Galen VanSickel, Aletha Adcock (Paul) of Sturgis, SD and Velta Grosch (Rich) of Sturgis, SD. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and several great friends.
