It is with great sadness that we announce the death of JoAnn Louise Kropf (Sturgis, South Dakota), born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on March 1, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, James Lyons and Florence Martin; her husband Fred Kropf; her former life partner Harry Tyson; and her children, Teresa Tyson and Timothy Tyson.

She is survived by : her children, Tammy Tyson-Ryan (Forrest) of Cabot, Jason Tyson of Cabot, Francis Tyson of Nebraska, Tracy Shelly (Leslie) of Nebraska, Heather Dahlster of Nebraska and Terri Tyson of Nebraska; her grandchildren, Frederick Tyson-Ryan of Cabot, Ryan Tyson-Ryan of Cabot and David Tyson-Ryan of Cabot; and her siblings, James Lyons (Cathy) of Nebraska, Sue Beurck (Larry) of Nebraska and Danny Post (Dianne) of Nebraska. She is also survived by grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 24th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Black Hills National Cemetery (20901 Pleasant Valley Dr, Sturgis, SD 57785).
