It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael John Van Woerkom (Sturgis, South Dakota), who passed away on April 14, 2026, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Roland Woerkom and Sammilee Van Woerkom (McCrady); his siblings, Jewel and Dana; his wife Jessica; his daughters, Destinie Layten of Douglas, Jordyn Alleman of Lusk and Sammilee Van Woerkom of Green River; and his siblings, Max (Connie) and Jacque Schutt. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
