She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Abel and Dorothy Abel. She is survived by: her friends, Gobi and Moni; her children, Kerry Howie (Ron) of White Owl, SD and Brook Loobey Sturgis (Lorrie); her grandchildren, Nathan Howie (Terri), Melinda Stewart (Jason) of Kannapolis, NC, Amanda Geer (Lex) of Savageton, WY, Jessica Loobey and Martina Loobey; her great grandchildren, Buddy Howie, Brandy Howie, Perry Geer and Macy Geer; her sisters, Kela Rathbun (Dow) of Douglas, WY and Zelda Wageman of Las Vegas, NV; and her sister-in-law Cleo Loobey. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Kinkade Funeral Chapel (1235 Junction Ave, Sturgis, SD 57785). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
