As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Robert may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Wicka and Gertrude Wicka; and his brother-in-law Roger Stagner. He is survived by: his sister Jeanne Stagner; his son James Wicka; his daughter-in-law Agnieszka Wicka; and his grandsons, Adam and Ben Wicka.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kinkade Funeral Chapel (1235 Junction Ave, Sturgis, SD 57785). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (1049 Howard St, Sturgis, SD 57785).
