She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Francis Heimer and Martha Heimer (Maychrzak); her sister Sandy May; her son Luke; and her siblings, Guy Heimer, Lorraine Heimer, Paul Heimer, Joseph Heimer (Dee), John Heimer (Nancy) and Christine Thole (Gary). She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews and a circle of loving friends.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St Mary's Catholic Church (306 6th St, Newell, SD 57760). The military honors will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Black Hills National Cemetery (20901 Pleasant Valley Dr, Sturgis, SD 57785).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Vicky's memory to a charitable organization of your choice, as a tribute to her generous spirit and life of service.
