She was predeceased by: her father Henry Teply; her husband Gary Sestak; her son Ryan Sestak; her brother Francis Teply; and her brother-in-law Larry Travnicek.
She is survived by: her mother Rose Teply (Plavec); her children, Corey Sestak (Katherine) of Sioux Falls, SD and Kristin Schuch (Christopher) of Tabor, SD; her grandchildren, Lauren and Olivia Sestak of Sioux Falls, SD; and her sister Cathy Lucas (Dan) of Tabor, SD. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church (205 N Lidice St, Tabor, SD 57063). A wake was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM and on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 7:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery (147 N Lidice St, Tabor, SD 57063).
