We announce the death of Debbra Dee Heeney of Tea, South Dakota, who passed away on August 25, 2026, at the age of 73. Debbra will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parent Dorothy Alles; her brother Jim Alles; and her nephew Ben. She is survived by: her husband Patrick Thomas Heeney; her son Michael Heeney (Erin); her grandchildren, Colin, Griffin, Delaney, Callahan and Malloy; her son Sean Heeney (Robin Watson); her grandchildren, Brooklyn, Kyla, Jordan and Carter; her son Tony Heeney (Catherine Pesicka); her grandson Connor; her daughter Jenny; her grandson Isaac; her brother Bob Alles; her siblings-in-law, Ruth Alles, Dan Heeney and Jude Heeney; and her family, Molly, Misty and Austin. She is also survived by her nephews, niece, extended family.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the George Boom Funeral Home (3408 E 10th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103). A wake was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Nicholas Catholic Church (140 W Brian St, Tea, SD 57064).
