Gail Veldkamp Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gail Veldkamp of Trent, South Dakota, who passed away on September 6, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Gail Veldkamp to show support.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Karsjens and Louise Karsjens (Finger); her parents-in-law, Mike and Caroline Veldkamp; and her brothers-in-law, Ted Boal and Ron Beyer.

She is survived by: her husband Rick Veldkamp; her children, Nicole of Roseville, MN and Derick of Dell Rapids; her siblings, Brian Karsjens (Barb) of Plymouth, MN, Paula Abebe (Gashaw) of Pittsburgh, PA, Debra Boal of Maple Grove, MN and Beth Potter (Steve) of Atlanta, GA; and her siblings-in-law, Glenda Wilts (Gayle) of Sioux Falls, SD, Connie Beyer-LaLonde (Rick) of Flandreau, Ken Veldkamp (Holly) of Dell Rapids and Cindy Schuch (Dave) of Dell Rapids.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Reformed Church (1209 Thresher Dr, Dell Rapids, SD 57022). A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
