With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stanley Steinheuser of Tulare, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 3, 2025 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Steinheuser and Sylvia Steinheuser (Kopplin); his in-laws, Walter and Esther Schultz; and his siblings-in-law, Durrell Schultz, Eldon Jensen and Marilyn Schultz.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Schultz of John's Church; his children, Mark Steinheuser (Shari), Julie Grehl (Frank) and Jay Steinheuser (Christy); his grandchildren, Lance Steinheuser, Scott Steinheuser (Jaclyn), Shaylyn Stout (Clint), Vanessa Edwards (Eric), Cassandra Stupka (Andrew), Nick Grehl (Sydney), Katelyn McPeck (Connor), Nathan Grehl (Jazzy), Logan, Sadie and Wyatt Steinheuser; his great grandchildren, Harper, Saylor, Jentry Steinheuser, Stran, Stocktyn Stout, Bryden, Breckyn Edwards, Jada, Audra, Ariana Stupka, Addison Grehl, Raidor, Ronix McPeck, Braxton and Paige Grehl; and his siblings, MaryJean Jensen and Alan Steinheuser (Diann). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hyke Funeral Home (101 E 7th Ave, Redfield, SD 57469). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at the Will Follow the Funeral Service.
