She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Crisman and Annabelle Cowin Crisman; her husbands, Garry and Norman L. Deal; her son Gareth Jr.; her daughter-in-law Roxanne; and her brothers-in-law, Lawrence Jones and Dean Hennies.

She is survived by: her children, Norman "Skip" Deal (Connie) and Lea Schell (Weston); her grandchildren, Brandi Thuringer, Carli Deal, Devin Schell (Shelby), Rebekka Sundberg (Nathan) and Mali Deal; and her siblings, Harry L. Crisman (Janet), Carlene Hennies and Cheryl Jones. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
