He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Tycz and Hilda Tycz (Winckler); and his grandparents, Charles Sr., Anna Tycz, Otto and Emma Winckler.
He is survived by: his uncle Art Winckler of Yankton, SD; and his aunts, Dorothy Frank of Tyndall and Darlene Tycz of Tyndall.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Leo Catholic Church (100 E Nebraska St, Tyndall, SD 57066). A wake was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Leo Catholic Cemetery (41496 303rd St, Tyndall, SD 57066).
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made directly to the Tyndall Fire Department, Bon Homme Bass Club, or Bon Homme Golf Course.
