He was predeceased by: his father Robert Werts. He is survived by: his mother Lois Werts of Kendallville; his son Jeffrey Lynn Werts; his wife Pat; his sisters, Rebecca Smith of Kendallville and Connie; and his brother-in-law Virgil Pravecek. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nephews and great-nieces.
