She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma DeSmet and Ted DeSmet. She is survived by: her husband Bob; her siblings, Jane Heirigs, Don (Susie) and Dean DeSmet (Nancy); her children, Lynne Young (James) of Northfield, MN, Sandy Weins-Kersten (John) of Aberdeen, SD, Mike (Chris) of Littleton, Jim of Littleton and Tom of Buckeye, AZ.; and her grandchildren, Erin Young Koernig, Robert Young, Justin, Caitlin, Christopher, Lexi Weins and Megan Bradley. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church or Brighton Hospice.
