He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Sommervold and Margaret Sommervold (Halderson). He is survived by: his wife Donna Davis of Vermillion; and his children, Grant of Burbank, SD and Shelley Weber (John) of Freeman, SD.. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, a brother and 3 sisters.
