He was predeceased by : his parents, George Larson and Ivy (Melville); his wife Ina (Betty); his son-in-law Tom Unrein; and his brother Alvin.

He is survived by : his children, Jim (Karen) of Mesa, Russell, Mary Unrein of Grand Island and Russ Yankton (Cathy); and his stepgranddaughters, Nicole and Cassie. He is also survived by several nieces nephews and many friends.

Memorials may be directed to donors' choice, Meckling Cemetery Association, or the Bergen Lutheran Church.
