He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Caroline (Merkle) and Lewis Lester Sterrett; his siblings, Jim Sterrett, Nancy Sterrett, Jan Price and Dorothy Elyea; his siblings-in-law, Bill Price Jr., Troy Picker, Bob Elyea and Donnarae Sterrett; and the mother of his children Susan Sterrett.
He is survived by: his children, Doug Tassler (Darla), Reda Brewer (Todd), Suzi Moore (Todd) and Sara Sterrett; his siblings, Carol Pickner and Curt Sterrett; and his grandchildren, Michael Tassler (Tina), Karl Brewer (Katie), Joseph Brewer, Tiffany Roetman (Justin), Matthew Moore, Erica Sterrett, Kaitlyn Tassler and Jenna Tassler. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
