Rodney Peterson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2025, at the age of 83, Rodney Peterson of Viborg, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Peterson and Merna Peterson (Lineback); his wife Helen; his sister Donna Sundleaf; his son Reid Alan; and his granddaughter Lauren Kae.
He is survived by: his son Rex (Emily); his grandchildren, Lexy (Andrew), Karsen, Reid, Rylan and Ava; his son Ryan (Mika); his grandchildren, Trystan, Aydan and Kyla; his sons, Ross (Becky) and Randy; his grandchildren, Taylor, Blake and Ty; his great grandchildren, Abel and Benjamin Warner; and his brother Jerry Peterson (Lyla). He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 212 S Main St, Viborg, SD 57070. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Community Center (101 West Sorensen, Viborg, SD 57070).
