He was predeceased by: his wives, Mae and Lois Morken; his parents, Peter Reimer and Dora Reimer (Thode); and his siblings, Kate Mvericka, Anna Guthrie, Frieda Ellis, Henry and William.

He is survived by: his son Ronnie (Sally); his grandchildren, Mike (Rebecca), Kelly Bloch (Lee) and Racquel Hunsley (Eric); his great grandchildren, Wylie Reimer (Jacob), Brett Reimer, Jacob Bloch (Paige), Izaak Hunsley and Cooper Hunsley; and his sister Darlene Struble.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be directed to the Bohemian National Cemetery, c/o Tim Tarabetz, 621 S Main St, Chamberlain, SD 57325.
