She was predeceased by: her parents, Ramond Strande and Evelyn Strande (Sundet); her husband Robert Eugene Oines; her son Stuart Oines; her son-in-law David Quam; her grandson Stuart Oines, Jr.; her great grandchild Kinley Schreiber; her siblings, Lyle Strande, Richard Strande, John Strande and Carol Roach; and her siblings-in-law, Al Roach, Larry Chaddock, Shirley Strande, Carol Jean Strande and Ruth Ann Strande.

She is survived by: her children, Roger Oines (Judy) of The Villages, FL, Sharman Quam and Weston Oines (Julie); her daughter-in-law Shirley Oines; her siblings, Russell Strande, Lloyd Strande and Camey Fenton (Jim) of Sun City, AZ; and her sister-in-law Darla Strande. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Lutheran Church-Volga (623 Kasan Ave, Volga, SD 57071). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the First Lutheran Church (623 Kasan Ave, Volga, SD 57071).
