She was predeceased by: her parents, Delmar Bessler and Malinda Bessler (Hinrichs). She is survived by: her husband Jerome Swanson of Brookings, SD; her children, Kori Swanson (Kenzy), Kelly Swanson (Jenny), Becky Swanson (Steve) and Allen Swanson (Emily); her stepdaughters, Cheryl Garchitorena (Benjie) and Sara Heath; her siblings, Danny Bessler (Lavon), Leanne Bailey and Lori Hart (Terry); and her aunt Edythe Monk. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
