He was predeceased by : his parents, Hugo C. Haar and Henrietta Haar (Mensch); his parents-in-law, Samuel Van Asperen and Virginia Kodes (Van Asperen); his son-in-law Simon Duke; and his siblings-in-law, Elton Schaeffer and Sandra Grosz.
He is survived by : his wife Sharon Van Asperen; his children, Milton and Roberta; his grandsons, William and Sidney Duke; his sister Harriet Schaeffer; his siblings-in-law, Don Van Asperen and Barbara Walters; and his cousin Lois Kinnamon.
