With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janis Nedved of Wagner, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 6, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph T Koupal and Anna E Koupal (Slaba); and her brother Michael. She is survived by: her husband Wilbur J Nedved; and her children, Richard Nedved (Jodie) of Wagner and Regina (Wm Richard Dufur) of Wagner. She is also survived by her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Janis, at 90 years old, crocheted over 100 beanie hats to donate to hospitals for children.
