He is survived by: his wife Teresa Fremd of Denver, CO; his daughter Christine Schelske (Tom); his grandchildren, Seamus, Sullivan and Rory; his sons, John Donahue and Brian Donahue (Kelli); his grandson Oliver; his in-laws, Kathleen Koenig (Jim) of Tyndall, SD, Mary O'Connor (Wayne) of Faribault, MN, JoEllen Klein (Virgil) of Dell Rapids, SD, James Donahue of San Francisco, CA and Brigetta Klein (Steve) of Sioux Falls, SD; his brother-in-law Ted Fremd (Skylar) of Dayville, OR; Peggy Fremd of Clayhatchee, AL.
