She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Dorothy Whipple, Herman and Hilda Dibbert; her father-in-law Arnie Ostrem; her grandson Bentley Rogers; and her nephew Jace Van Den Berg.
She is survived by: her parents, Donald Whipple and Carol Whipple (Dibbert) of Norfolk, NE; her husband Mark Ostrem; her children, Lindsay Rogers (Stephen) of Irene, SD and Brittan Ostrem (Leah) of Centerville, SD; her grandchildren, Jaylen, Jordyn, Jackson, Aiden, Westen Rogers, Lydia and Baron Ostrem; her sisters, Denise Bender (Gale) of Norfolk, NE and LaDonna Schulz (Brian) of Pierce, NE; her mother-in-law Marie Ostrem of Centerville, SD; and her sisters-in-law, Julie Peterson (Gary) of Beresford, SD, Bonnie Van Den (Clark) and Angela Nichols (Ian) of Sioux Falls, SD. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Calvary Lutheran Church (225 E Main St, Irene, SD 57037).
