While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Minnie Qualm (Stamer) and Andrew Qualm; and her siblings, Jim Qualm (Arlene) and Janet Ticknor (Larry). She is survived by: her husband Gary Peterson of Wall; and her children, Lori Shearer (Greg) of Wall, Lona Neal (David) of Indianapolis, IN and Randy "Herm" Peterson (Lois) of Rapid City.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Scotchman Living Center in Philip.
