He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Riehl and Anne Riehl (Ternes) of Watauga, SD; his sister Sharon Long of Black Hawk, SD; and his uncle Carl Riehl of Watauga, SD. He is survived by: his children, Alysia Riehl, Tanya Koch (Chris), Josh Riehl (Adrienne), Carissa McGregor (Owen) of Bismarck, ND and Elias Riehl; his grandchildren, Bennett of Bismarck, Londyn Koch of Bismarck, Raylan Riehl of Bismarck, Aspen Heverly of Bismarck, Tyler of Bismarck, Levi of Bismarck and McGregor of Bismarck; and his sisters, Jo Ann Gannon of Sioux Falls, SD and Juliette Montgomery of Rapid City, SD. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
He was very proud when he learned his donation exceeded the minimum requirement by 108 million cells.
