He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Jordan and Dorthea Jordan (Arndt); his parents-in-law, Emil and Elsie Bartelt; his brothers, Donald and John; and his brothers-in-law, Earl, Harvey and Duane Bartelt.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Bartelt; his children, Kenneth Jordan (Joan) of Redwood Falls, MN, Debra Whitlock (Dallas) of Watertown, SD, Brenda Ploof of Watertown, SD and Michael Jordan (Kristi) of Sommerset, SD; his sisters-in-law, Alyce Bartelt and Verna Bartelt; his grandchildren, Brian Jordan (CJ), Becki Jordan, Aaron Jordan, Dan Whitlock (Michele), Darin Whitlock, Dereck Whitlock, Jason Ploof (Vicky), Justin Ploof, Jacob Ploof, Dustin Jordan (Becky) and Travis Jordan (Courtney); and his great grandchildren, Kendalyn, Parker Dingman, Brennan, Jazlyn Jordan, Zachary Whitlock (Madison), Tyler Whitlock (Madalynn), Trinity Ploof (Hunter), Alex Ploof (Angelyn), Emma Ploof, Aubrey Ploof, Eli Ploof, Leo, Max, Jude and Noah Jordan. He is also survived by one great-great-grandchild due in December; and many nieces, nephews.
Memorials may be given to the Zion Lutheran Church in Waubay, SD, or Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Watertown, SD.
