He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Aker and Lillie Aker (French); his wife Phyllis Marjorie Mitchell; his son Lonnie Aker; and his brothers, Alton, Harold, Alvin and Merle Aker.
He is survived by: his children, Diana Henfling (Allen) of Watkins, MN and Terry Aker of Watertown, SD; his grandchildren, Jason Pratt (Jill), Jessica Aker Nelson (Derrick) and Joshua Aker (Katie Josephsen); his great grandchildren, Aron Pratt (Nicole), Andrew Pratt and Elizabeth Pratt; his great great grandchildren, Adalynn and Everly Pratt; and his brother Ronald Aker of Watertown, SD. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
