It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darrell Grotjohn of Watertown, South Dakota, who passed away on April 12, 2026, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Grotjohn and Anna Grotjohn (Olson); his wife Ruth Ward; his son Richard; and his siblings, Leslie, Elaine, Iola and Shirley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Ross (Scott) and Kelly Marlow (Blaine) of Watertown; his grandchildren, Derick Ross (Bridget), Dustin Ross (Casee), Dana Engels (Brent) and Blaine Marlow II (Emma Polchow); his great grandchildren, Brayden, Jayden and Camden Ross; and his siblings, Betty Gallagher and Roger Grotjohn (Marybeth).
