It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dave Stricherz of Watertown, South Dakota, who passed away on May 13, 2026, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Killian "Kelly" Stricherz and Stella Stricherz (Wall); and his siblings, Richard Stricherz, Nancy Bell and Janice Stricherz.
He is survived by: his former spouse Coni [Connie] Engels; his wife Sue Grist; his son Josh Stricherz (Ashley); his grandchildren, Madison and Ayla Stricherz; his siblings, Kelly Stricherz (Carole) of Chamberlain, SD, Matt Stricherz (Kelly) of Montezuma, NM, Mary Evanson (Peter) of St. Paul, MN and Vina Clendenin (Jim) of Watertown, SD; his siblings-in-law, Pam Sturman (Jim) of Collingwood, Christine Mathew (Doug) of Vancouver, BC and Tim Sturman (Dianne) of Port Colborne, Ont.; Allan Beyer, Allan Beyer III and Family2.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to Prairie Lakes Hospice or Glacial Lakes Humane Society.
