He was predeceased by : his parents, Emery Darling and Nellie Darling (VanGilder); his wife Karen Kellogg; his daughter Deidre Darling; his brother Walt; his sister-in-law Dora Darling; his siblings, Gerald Darling and Susan Weisgram; his brother-in-law Tom Weisgram; his sister Mary Weppner; and his brother-in-law Dan Weppner.
He is survived by : his son Dean Darling (Melissa) of Watertown, SD; his siblings, Steve Darling (Pat) of Aberdeen, SD, Mike Darling (Joyce) of Deadwood, SD, Paul Darling (Sylvia) of Aberdeen, SD, Roger Darling (Penny) of Aberdeen, SD, Mark Darling (Carol) of Aberdeen, SD and Jeanette Buechele (Gary) of Aberdeen, SD; his sister-in-law Vera Osness of Platte, SD; his grandchildren, Daniel Darling, Samantha Goodhouse, Paige Goodhouse and Joshua Darling; and his great grandchild Joseph Darling.
