He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Moyer and Alice Moyer (Bunde); and his siblings, Clayton Moyer and Ardis Henning. He is survived by: his wife Yolanda "Landy" Moyer; his children, Dennis Moyer Jr. (Marlene Bitz) of Watertown, SD, Rita Lewandowski (Ed) of Cromwell, CT, Larry Moyer (Barb) of Watertown, SD and Ron Moyer (Kari) of Watertown, SD; his grandchildren, Danielle, Mike, Maria, Brittany and McKayla; his sisters, Marilyn Henning (Jack) of Watertown, SD and Norma Strege; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Henning (Shirley) and Alice Moyer. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wight & Comes Funeral Chapel (1111 4th St NE, Watertown, SD 57201). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Martin's Lutheran Church (1200 2nd St NE, Watertown, SD 57201).
