Though Diane may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Diane touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Roberts and Irene Roberts. She is survived by: her sister Dixie Swoboda (Rod); and her daughters, Kim Hanson and Melody Kerkvliet (Mark). She is also survived by four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Crawford - Osthus Funeral Chapel (1311 4th St NE, Watertown, SD 57201). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grace Lutheran Church (202 2nd St SE, Watertown, SD 57201).
