She was predeceased by: her parents, George J. Bauer and Abbie E. Bauer (Kirsch); her husband Virgil D. Rukstad; her son Michael; her sisters, Marcella Neuendorf (Harold) and Rozella Haider (Simon); and her nephew Doug Neundorf (Linda).
She is survived by: her son James Rukstad (Julie); and her granddaughter Talei of Astoria, NY. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
